Here are folks, bands, and organizations John has worked with or just plan likes. Take some time and pay them a visit.

Songwriters and Bands

Esther www.e-esther.com

Boston based singer/songwriter. Co-wrote some cool songs with her. Also produced her first record. It got rave reviews if you don't mind me sayin' so. Go ahead! Check for yourself.

Ansel Matthews www.anselmatthews.com

New Yorks' finest. He's a long time friend of mine who trusted me with his second record. Wonderful performer. He's got a steady gig at The Zinc Bar, www.zincbar.com. Pay him a visit. You'll be glad you did.

Mary Ann Farley www.maryannfarley.com

She's a long time favorite of mine. One of the first faces I met arriving in Hoboken way back when. I've enjoyed recording on her records. I've enjoyed even more listening to her records and catching her live.

Kate Jacobs www.katejacobsmusic.com

She's one of my favorite songwriters. Visit her site and you'll see for yourself.

Mad Agnes www.madagnes.com

This is Margo Hennebach, Adrienne Jones, and Mark Saunders. They are a power trio in all aspects of the phrase. Each one is a multi-instrumentalist, writer, vocalist. On top of all that they are just plain folk. Nice too. They recorded for me on Chasing Stars.

Tris McCall www.trismccall.net

He listens to everything. Reviews everything. And Writes and performs. Check out his site. Requirements: Coffee. Lots of coffee. Focus. Lots of focus.

Naked Blue www.nakedblue.com

I'm sure everybody knows these guys. We all met when we were starting out way too many years ago. Jen and Scott were kind enough to record "All I Want To Do Is Dance" a few years back. How cool is that?

Great People and Places

Acoustic Live www.acousticlive.com

My old friend Rich Cuccaro is keeping the publication going. A Great resource!

Alchemy Open Studio www.aostudio.org

Renee E. Bures is Executive Director.
Alchemy Open Studio - Express yourself! AO Studio is a nonprofit arts oasis offering Open Studios, workshops and Art Therapy sessions. No art skill needed, just a craving to have fun with tons of art supplies in an artsy, funky space.

Organizations

The Princeton Songwriters www.princetonsongwriters.org

This is the northern NJ chapter of the NSAI -Nashville Songwriters Association International. I am currently the co-cordinator of this group along with Mark Mooney. I recommend any songwriters out there to check it out. There are chapters all over the states and worldwide. Don't have to be a member to attend local meetings. There's a lot to learn and appreciate. Home office is in Nashville (naturally), NSAI: www.nashvillesongwriters.com.

Americana Music Association www.americanamusic.org

Here's another organization set up to educate and assist in an artists' music career. Various resources are available to members. It's cool.

More will be added as life progresses...

Shout-outs of Thanks

For the look of this new site, gratitude to graphic designer Mary Domowicz (www.domowicz.com), and contributing photographers Don Becker, Mark Ludak, and Norman Mayersohn.

And a special nod to my cool wife Lucille, without whom I would not be where I am.
